Reduce the Effects of Skin Aging with Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers can add fullness and reshape the skin, reducing the effects of aging. If your goal is to diminish facial lines, smooth wrinkles, restore skin volume, plump lips, or enhance facial features, this treatment may be right for you. Dermal fillers are used to:

  • Add Volume to Lips
  • Smooth Wrinkles & Skin Imperfections
  • Enhance Facial Contours
  • Treat Nasolabial Folds
  • Improve Acne Scars
  • Tighten Necklines
  • And More

Types of Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are also known as “injectable fillers” or “soft tissue fillers”.  There are four types of chemical fillers; Hyaluronic Acid, PLLA: Sculptra, CaHA: Radiesse, and Polydioxanone Threads (PDO). At CARE we use the best products to accommodate your goals.

We also provide Bio-Fillers, which are made from your own blood. The plasma from your blood is separated and processed, and the resulting solution is injected into the skin. This stimulates collagen naturally, and adds volume similar to chemical fillers.

Hyaluronic acid is a substance naturally found in the body, so this is a common option for skin rejuvenation. It is safe and well-tolerated by most skin types. Hyaluronic Acid products include brands such as Juvederm, Sculptra, and Perlane.

How Long Do Fillers Last

Facial fillers typically last from 6-24 months. As the effects begin to fade, most patients experience skin that looks as good as or better than prior to the procedure. Results vary depending on the type of filler, the skin conditions, and the individual. To maintain the best results, touch-ups are recommended periodically.

If you have questions about the short and long term effects, one of our team members can explain the procedure and potential outcomes during your initial consultation. Our fillers are administered at our Wichita, KS skincare clinic.

How are Fillers Administered

A typical dermal filler procedure takes 30 minutes or less. A bit longer for bio-fillers. After cleaning and applying a numbing agent to the treatment area, we use a fine needle to inject the filler. The process doesn’t hurt, and it requires no downtime.

Part art, and part science, the injection process requires an expert. Optimal results are achieved through proper training and experience. If you think fillers could improve your skin’s appearance, please set up a consultation to learn more about the process.
